Fundraising and fundraising management
Fundraising is a fundamental value for securing and sustaining the lives of vulnerable and destitute children.
Their lives and future depend on the regular donations from donors who values children as their own and desiring the best outcomes for them.
It is the Join Hands philosophical approach that advanced nation derived from collection of joined hands.
As such, it is our hope to extend our helping hands and the salvation gospel for the children not only in marginalised community in South Sudan and Uganda but throughout the world.
Join Hands is an independent collection of charity members working with wide local communities and local Pastors to conduct fundraising exclusive to Join Hands cause.
The Join Hands strategise the funds to the most critical and urgent areas where it is needed most to the least importance.
We do not work and we are not incorporated in any government, however we do seek pledge from the government when necessary.
Below are some of the critical areas where the funds are attributed:
-  Teachers’ monthly payment
- Â School building
- Â Learning material
- Â Feeding homeless children
- Â Medication
- Â Children playing equipment
- Â Church building
Since the Join Hands school operates concurrently in South Sudan and Uganda, the teachers receive their payment based on the currency and that is South Sudan pound and Uganda Shillings on monthly basis.
Join Hands has School board members in the field in South Sudan whose primary responsibilities is record keeping of all activity expenses.
These includes ensuring accurate payment for all the teaching staffs, medication expense, school building expense, learning materials, uniforms, food, and school celebration events, and forwarding copies of documents and receipt to the Join Hands international board members in Australia.
